Pachinko Sphinx

Posted by Mike Cash (Kiryu, Japan) on 19 January 2007 in Architecture.

Top of the facade of a pachinko parlor (Japanese "pinball" gambling establishment). The whole front of the building is designed to resemble the Sphinx. In the world of pachinko, the tacky and the gaudy are the rule rather than the exception.
