@Lisa Reeve: Thank you. The common theme for my posted images is "shots taken from the driver's seat of my truck", so composition and whatnot are strictly luck of the draw for me. If I happen to hit a red light and there happens to be something, I try to grab it.
great job mike, the pure silhouette against the stunning sunset (thats a beauty) makes for a very strong image. One thing i try to do often (although not always) is to get my diagonals to hit the corners of the frame. The eye follows the diagonal to the edge and compostionally it can really work wonders. (in this case I'd hit top right with that lower edge of the silhoutted bridge. Give it a go next time and see what you think.
