Cityscape? Sure, it was taken from the container truck waiting yard at Tokyo's Aomi Wharf, fashionable Odaiba's blue collar neighbor. I had been at work 11 hours and sitting in the waiting yard with a hundred or so other trucks for two hours. It was broad daylight when I got there, and it would be another five hours before I arrived back in Gunma. A glance to the west revealed lemonade in this lemon of a day, so I rolled down the passenger side window, leaned over, and grabbed a glassful from beyond the trees.

Absolutely gorgeous! The color of the sky is just incredible and your composition has captured the moment perfectly! The trees like sillouhettes up against the glowing sky! Just beautiful! (Thank you for the lovely and moving comment you made earlier on mine!)

Beautiful! the colour is simply stunning, but for me the real icing on the cake is the compostion, those trees left and right form a beautifully balanced natural frame. The undulating horizon allows the eye to really flow over the image, as if its were water. The silhoutted tree rearing up, its branches almost limb like, a very poetic image. Is it drowning? or reaching for the last rays of light? or something else entirely? great shot.

@Duncan Galbraith: Thanks, I just thought the trees were purdy. The gent in the the truck next to mine gave me a puzzled look as I leaned way over to shoot up and out the passenger side window. Had I been one spot ahead or behind in line, I never would have seen the trees like that.
