@Daroru: I cropped it, enhanced the contrast, adjusted the levels and curves, then applied an adjustment layer with a heavy embossing effect to emphasize the texture of the oranges and give the leaves some character. The original photo was horrid.

@Duncan Galbraith: I came within a hair of deleting the original photo. It was really awful. Heavy-handed pp is the only thing that saved it. I saw that I couldn't do it lightly and retain a "photo" quality about it, so I just abandoned that and went for textures.
