Get set....but wait for the crosswalk signal to turn green before you go.

A pair of Tokyo elementary school first graders on their way home after school. The heavy bookbags they are wearing are standard equipment for elementary school kids throughout Japan. The first graders look like they're about to topple over backwards and by the time they're in the sixth grade they look like they have a pillbox between their shoulder blades. The yellow plastic sheet attached to the rear of the bags mark these two as first graders.
