@Daroru: Thanks. Playing with the contrast was pretty much the only thing that could be done with it. In case anyone is wondering how it's done: On a duplicate layer, apply a photocopy effect and then experiment with the blending modes.
The perspective makes you think of a new dimension.

@Chus: That's one way of looking at it. My thoughts at the time were, "If I'm doomed to be stuck behind this thing for the next 10 miles, I may as well take a photo and see what can be done with it." I was just trying to alleviate the monotony.

I'm not usually a fan of abstract, but there's something about this sort of honeycomb effect that I really enjoy.
