ShockerPosted by Mike Cash (Kiryu, Japan) on 7 May 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. She didn't look like a soldier, so I'm hoping she was a horrorpunk. This is my first post with a camera other than the Pentax K100D digital SLR. The photo was taken with a 1956 "Ricoh 35 De Luxe" rangefinder on whatever ISO100 Fuji color film it was they had at the local 7-11. The camera has no built-in light meter, no auto-exposure, no autofocus, no auto-anything. I got a light meter subsequent to taking this photo, but this one was made strictly guessing the exposure using the "Sunny 16" method. Focus was done by focusing on something I judged to be roughly the same distance the bag was. Framing was point-and-pray.
