Not surprisingly, perhaps, the base of this sign is a rather popular place to throw litter.
First image posted from my latest toy, a 1970ish Yashica Electro 35 GS rangefinder. A camera which can picked up for practically free on the internet. The roll of film cost me about 50% more than the camera did.

I love the colours you get with this camera!

@Art Monkey: Thanks! Just today the mailman brought me a BIG box filled with a dozen old cameras I purchased in a lot via auction. Two of the cameras I can't get film for. Two are old rangefinders that may need a little bit of work. Seven of them are point-and-shoot style 35mm cameras, including a couple or three rather nice ones. One even still has some film in it.
The main reason I bought the whole lot, though, was that it also included a 50s vintage twin lens reflex that shoots 120 film. It is in a little bit rough condition, and the shutter really needs to be pulled apart and lubricated. I can get it to work fine so long as I only fire the shutter with the self-timer. It needs some cleaning and TLC, but I believe I could actually shoot pictures with it just as it is right now. Sometime over the next couple or three weeks I hope to be able to run some film through it. The whole shebang only cost me about 30 bucks.
That's what I thought as well.
