Yup, nice sepia tone, and I have to ask: LR or the GIMP?

@Dan: This was an LR tone. You gonna chip in at the end of August when I end up buying the thing?

Err, ahh... I suggest contributing to the forums and seeing what happens.

@Dan: Yeah, I was just teasing. That was my way of saying that even on short acquaintance I'm going to end up purchasing Lightroom even if I have to pay full price for it. I shoot RAW exclusively and the interface for working with the exposure adjustments with real-time updates to the histogram is priceless. It even makes a big difference working with my film scans. I'll probably end up buying an upgrade to the pro version of VueScan so I can save my film scans as RAW files as well.

Yeah, I kinda got the teasing bit. Anyway, glad you like the software; even at its slightly shocking price I think it's worth it. The more I use it the more I like it and find out what it can do: lotsa stuff in there. Feel free to email me with any questions.
BTW, keep in mind that Vuescan's RAW files are in TIFF format, probably not a problem.
