Filling a Niche

While stopped at a red light in Saitama Prefecture recently, I happened to notice this advertisement plastered on a guard rail. Now, it is *very* common to see advertisements with the cell phone numbers of call girl services on telephone poles and guard rails, especially near love hotels, and at first I assumed this to be another such poster.

Closer inspection reveals that it is....now get this....an advertisement for an ear cleaning salon. Now why would anybody pay around 10 bucks just to get their ears cleaned? Because it is done by a beautiful woman holding your head on her lap, that's why.
