Alternate Transportation

@Dan: I can tell you've never had a child in a Japanese elementary school. Those are the handles of a jump rope. Kids here are always bringing home a piece of paper informing parents that they have to buy one thing or another....and "jump rope" is pretty much an annual thing. Somebody somewhere in Japan is making a killing on that racket.
