Traditional noren curtain outside the entrance to a ramen shop on Tokyo's Kan-nana (Circular Route #7). The writing turned away from the street indicates that the shop is not open. When the restaurant opens for business later in the day, someone will come out, remove the pole from it's holders, turn it around, and hang it back up again.
