A Town Fixture

The fellow in the left is our city's most prominent homeless citizen. I hesitate to say he is our only one, as I have seen others come and go, but as a general thing we either have no others or they choose not to frequent the main commercial district.

I've been seeing him around town here for over 15 years, with nary a change in his appearance or apparent circumstances. His left leg is permanently in the condition you see here: shortened and bent at the knee.

He is talking with a local merchant as the merchant has come out to shutter his storefront for the night.
