@Daryl: I wish you could have been there. It looked like a total madhouse and I was surprised they managed to get everything done in time. They had a regular assembly line for doing the preparations. The girls moved from chair to chair as different ladies did different parts of their makeup and hair. Then there were other ladies in another room doing the kimono, of course. I came away with a new appreciation for what goes into putting on even the most humble sort of production. A lot of work went into it.
