Waterfall Rainbow

Posted by Mike Cash (Kiryu, Japan) on 15 March 2009 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

I have learned that rainbows are hard things to focus on.

This was taken in the water energetically spattering off the rocks from a small waterfall at a Buddhist temple up in the hills. I used an off-camera flash to attempt to freeze the water. In hindsight, I should have gone back to the car for more powerful flashes.

Starting tomorrow there will be some photos from this temple (鳳仙寺)posted on Tuesdays. Trust me, I really do make an effort not to run the same crap several days in a row.
