In the Import-Export Business

A worker at the K-Line container yard of Tokyo's Ooi Wharf makes a step-jump onto the roof on an intermodal container freshly unloaded from a ship to inspect for any signs of holes or other damage that may require repair or indicate the possibility of the load having incurred water damage during transit. The red flag in front of the driver's face is to let him know there is a worker on top of the truck and it is not safe to move.

Note the absence of any license plate on the tractor. This truck never leaves the container yard and isn't subject to any sort of licensing or vehicle inspections. Also note the special trailer being used. The yellow protrusions are to guide the container onto the truck as it is being loaded. Having the guides allows the work to go faster as less precise work is required of the crane operator than is the case for loading trailers that operate on the highways.
