As I continued my drive through the backroads of the Watarase Valley I found myself near Nakano Station and walked over to check the unmanned rural station's schedule to see how long it would be until a train came along. I had about a 15 minute wait for this northbound train to arrive so I sat myself down next to the crossing guard arm and hoped there would still be a little light left to take a photo of the approaching train coming around the curve.
