No Fishing

Posted by
Mike Cash (Kiryu, Japan) on 1 April 2007 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio.

Some men enjoying salt-water fishing in Yokohama bay, in spite of the many large and clear "NO FISHING" signs they had to pass on their way to this location at Daikoku Wharf.

If you're not allowed to fish anyway, it doesn't make any sense to not fish with just one pole. May as well not fish with half a dozen while you're at it.

As usual, this was taken from my truck. I was sitting in line waiting to enter the NYK container yard. The fishermen when casting had to be careful not to hit or snag the trucks which were only about 5 feet behind them.
